Juicing Wheatgrass For A Cleaner Body

Have you heard of wheatgrass juices? Don't feel bad, most people haven't, but juicing wheatgrass can be a key part of a healthy drink. You can add it to any combination of vegetables you're juicing and the benefits are legion; vitamins, minerals, amino acids and those enzymes which help with digestive problems. Wheatgrass juices are also used as a preventative as it detoxifies the body, increases blood flow and is an excellent all-round addition to any diet. It also helps to alkalize and oxygenate the blood, boost the immune system and assists in regulating the thyroid.

Whether you're using the conventional or alternative methods, you will find that as cancer tumors break-up they can dump a load of acidic residue into the bloodstream, the liver must clean this residue out of the blood. You should never drink Wheatgrass juice on an empty stomach and it should be spaced out over the day not taken all at website once. If you have a sensitive stomach you should start Wheatgrass juice at once every other day until you have determined how it will affect you.

There are two types of centrifugal juicers, FULL BASKET and PULP EJECTION. With these types, the juice is drawn continuously out of the pulp in the basket. Another juice I really love is watermelon juice. The secret with the watermelon is to juice the rind and seeds along with the fruit. The rind is where you'll find most of the minerals and sodium.

 

 



Did you know you can add practically any superfood to any meal for extra nutrition? Wheatgrass is also available in powder form. Try a powder that is organic and has been freeze dried or dried in the sun. This method will retain the nutritional value of the plant. A powder can be used in smoothies or added to juice or water for a potent supplemental boost.
